LED lamps to be manufactured in Ganja

The plant will initially employ 100 people, with a target of 500 once it reaches full capacity.

A new production facility is being commissioned in Ganja, where LED lamps will be manufactured. Niyazi Bayramov, head of the Ganja City Executive Power, toured the conditions created at the facility.

Entrepreneur Zafar Mammadov said the LED lamps produced here will make it possible to save up to ten times more energy than standard lamps.

The plant was opened with a concessional business loan from the Entrepreneurship Development Fund under the Ministry of Economy. Based on a confirming document from the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources, LED lamps made at the plant are exempt from customs duty.

The plant will initially employ 100 people; once the facility runs at full capacity, the aim is to raise that number to 500.
